Best Dressed of the Emmys 2012

Here it is my list for Best Dressed at the 2012 Emmys!

Ginnifer Goodwin

Ginnifer Goodwin in a beautiful Monique Lhuillier. The amazing orange-red on nude stood out the most on the red carpet. She wins my vote for best dress of the evening!

Elisabeth Moss

Elisabeth Moss took a big risk in this Dolce & Gabbana. The print is very fresh, and I love the structured ruffle detail. She is wearing alice + olivia shoes designed by Stacey Bendet, H. Stern earrings and bracelet, and a Norman Silverman ring. But my favorite part of this outfit is the amazing pearl encrusted clutch— I MUST have it!

Edie Falco

Okay, I have to start off by saying, how amazing does Edie Falco look?! I think she looks absolutely fabulous. This dress, by Stella McCartney, is just amazing on her. I love  how it almost looks like she is wearing two completely different dresses from the front and the back! Plus her hair and makeup complete the look perfectly.

Hayden Panettiere

Alright, admittedly I am not the biggest fan of Hayden, however I am a huge fan of Marchesa and Hayden’s stylist (and perhaps Hayden’s choice… perhaps). I love this gorgeous grecian style Marchesa gown. I am in love with the gold lace paired with sheer navy blue!

January Jones

So this year at the Emmys there was very little black. Celebrities who’s go to is black, opted for color, like Tina Fey who wore a beautiful plum colored dress by Vivianne Westwood. However, I believe January Jones stood out in this immaculate Zac Posen gown. The second woman of “Mad Men” on my list this year! I love the playfulness of the sheer against the solid. And we are definitely seeing a trend of asymmetrical hemlines.

Julianne Hough

The color is incredible. The hemline details are exquisite. This gown by designer Georges Hobeika Couture stood out to me among the other ladies in aqua. The details are so impeccable, I just can’t stop looking at this dress.

Lovin’ the Ladies in Lemon

So yellow was the winning color of the evening. Three of the actresses who won an Emmy were adorned in this radiant color!

1. Julianne Moore in an amazing silhouette designed by Dior.

2. Clare Danes pregnant and glowing in Lanvin.

3. Kaylee Cuoco in an oragami structured gown by Angel Sanchez.

4. Julie Bowen was radiant in Monique Lhuillier.

5. And last but definately not least is Leslie Mann in this incredible dress by Naeem Kahn.

Smart Suits

A lot of the men this year were very nicely dressed—there’s nothing better than a man in a suit! However, a few were ahead of the crowd.

1. The host of the evening Jimmy Kimmel stood out in his 3-piece.

2.Winner of Best Supporting Actor, Aaron Paul, also wins Biggest Risk with Highest Reward! I love the chance he took wearing a brown suit by Prada with a bow tie!

3.When she had her pant on, Ellen Degeneres looked beautiful in this cobalt blue suit.

4. Not a fan of his show, but Jon Cryer’s suit is a YES! Lovin’ the grey jacket with contrasting lapels.

5. And then there is Clare Danes arm candy/baby daddy Hugh Dancy looking dashing in this classic suit!
