Yes, florals can be a bit of a spring cliché, but who doesn’t want to wear a gorgeous floral print this time of year? They make us happy, bring us joy, and clichés be damned, we’re doing it! Throwback Thursday: David Bowie

This week’s Throwback Thursday I decided to go eccentric! And one of the most influential icons of eclecticism in fashion is the one and only David Bowie. Pushing the boundaries of fashion from days past, and inspiring designers to date, Mr. Bowie is a wonderful package of fashion delight. With the flamboyant, androgynous alter ego Ziggy Stardust, he challenged the world of music and style. This look is inspired by him as a person as well as his style.

5 Things…

Good Monday everyone! I still feel extra refreshed from that bonus hour of sleep this weekend. So much so that I am enjoying this beautiful morning. Today is my Nephew Riley’s 6th birthday, and I am even more excited to be celebrating some more tonight!  So today… is a good day!And on that note, here are my 5 Things for the week!

1. Golden Wolf Mask Ring Adjustable Filigree in Bronze
I am in love with this gorgeous ring designed by Moon Raven Designs. It fells mythical with power, with a touch of Shakespeare.

2. Benefit Fakeup
This is my new favorite concealer. This is probably the one beauty product I have been searching the longest for. I remember at a young age looking for a good concealer, and never finding anything just right. Either too heavy, or not enough coverage. Benefit Fakeup, has amazing cover, yet feels like you are wearing nothing. And… with the added bonus of moisturization.

3. Rag & Bone Black Leather Emery Wooden Wedge Boots
Okay, Okay. I know I have gone on about these, but what can I say? I am obsessed! I love the color of the wood, the wedge, the strappies! Perfection in boot.

4. TOPSHOP Colour Block Mini Evian Bag
Just another thing to add to my obsession list. I love color blocking, and with these colors it is absolutely stunning. So much so that it made a guest appearance in my dream last night. Except it wasn’t mine. And I was sad.

5. Welcome Home  – by: Radical Face
Gorgeous song! I can’t help but feel like I am at a turning point of an epic movie when the chorus hits, and the stereo is up loud. Get the soundtrack for you life, listen to this song and the rest of the album Ghost here.
