My thoughts are that this would be what I believe is known as an editorial piece. There is nothing about this dress that I think has any merit for the everyday woman but then again it’s not designed for the everyday woman–Rihanna!! I hope this is its first and last appearance anywhere.
Yes, as she was named Style Icon of the year last night, her look had to be stand out and for people to take notice! I think this look achieved just that! Also, this ensemble was designed customer just for her, so no chance to see it anywhere else!
