Cannes 2014 Best Red Carpet Looks

I love having a constant flow of red carpet looks filling up my feeds, but that will be ending as the Cannes Film Festival wraps up, but we still have thousands of Red Carpet looks to gawk at, and to sift out our faves!

There have been some power houses on these red carpets, including Blake Lively, Jessica Chastain and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, all of which had multiple hits at the Festival.

Christian Dior {Paris Haute Couture S/S 2014}

With this show, Raf Simons has captured the importance and relevance of couture for today.

This Dior haute couture collection is rather minimal compared to previous Dior couture. Personally, I am thrilled to see cutwork as the feature of textile for this collection. Clean and pure, has allowed the surface textures of the designs to take the forefront, as opposed to the strong silhouettes that are usually the feature of Simons’ collections. The shapes and lines are 60s in feel, which has featured beautiful A line garment showcasing the 3 dimensional appearance of the mesh like fabric. It shows the connection between the designer and garments, which with this level of fabric manipulation is very much expected.

SAG Awards 2014 Red Carpet

Tonight’s Screen Actor’s Guild Awards was a seriously fantastic night on the red carpet. I can barely decide who the best dressed is… but someone’s gotta do it! The winner of the most fabulous on this {and every other} red carpet is *insert drumroll*………

She looked stunning in this embellished Gucci gown. I love her monochromatic looks on the red carpet

Michelle Dockery looking sexy and stunning as always in this tuxedo J.Mendel gown.

Amy Adams wore this extraordinary astmmetrical Antonio Berardi gown. Colbalt blue is really her color!

Jane Krakowski looked absolutely drop dead gorgeous in this green asymmetrical Roland Mouret gown.

Cate Blanchett wore this beautiful Givenchy gown. It took me a little bit of time as I studied this look… but it’s a win!

Claire Danes is my first favorite in Vionnet of the night! I love the contrast of the muted side panels, it creates a flowing characteristic to a glitzy sequin gown – which you would think would be impossible.

Gretchen Mol is gorgeous, and this soft elegant look just accentuates all her beauty!

Kerry Washington! I mean KERRY WASHINGTON!!!! She would wear a crop top with a baby bump! And look fabulous while doing it! She is absolutely beautiful in Prada.

Julia Roberts was our token jumpsuit wearer of the evening. She wore this pink Valentino number impeccably.

James Marsden looked very dapper on the red carpet in this Valentino. Contrast lapels seem to be trending on the red carpet, not that we are complaining…

Hannah Simone {from New Girl} looks elegant in this gorgeous Marchesa gown. The soft blue tones compliment her complexion for a perfect look.

Jennifer Lawrence wore Dior once again. She looked incredible, as if she was waiting in line at Studio 54.

*Best Dressed Couple Alert*: Matthew McConaughey took a well executed risk in the patterned Dolce & Gabbana suit, and Camila Alves looked like a golden goddess in vintage Donna Karan.

Mindy! Oh, how I love Mindy Kaling! This David Meister dress is absolutely perfect on her.

Kelly Osborne is looking fierce on the red carpet! This Zac Posen gown is so flattering, she looks incredible!

Kaley Cuoco tried out the mermaid look in this pale Vera Wang. I love the softness of the color paired with the strong silhouette and eye makeup.

Morena Baccarin looked exquisite in this romantic Monique Lhuillier gown.

Laura Carmichael is my second favorite in Vionnet. I love the cut of this shimmery gown! Love.

Malin Akerman is looking very art deco-y 20s in this Naeem Khan gown.

Sandra Bullock was full on glamourous in this strapless Lanvin gown. Asymmetrical dresses have been trending on this red carpet.

Sofia Vergara looks like the most beautiful disco ball in the whole world. {I mean that as a HUGE compliment – I love disco balls!} This glitzy Donna Karan hugs her curves beautifully.

Oprah Winfrey looks beautiful on the red carpet in this purple Badgley Mischka gown.

Jennifer Lawrence once again wore Dior on the red carpet. However tonight’s sequined look was way more glam than the now infamous Golden Globes dress. And she wouldn’t be Jennifer Lawrence if she didn’t say something equal parts awkward and endearing.
